Signed by Gordon Dalziel in July 2008. Having helped Larkhall Thistle to win the Central League 1st Division title back in 1999-00 Chris joined Albion Rovers where he spent 5 seasons, making 117 first team appearances. He then had a spell with Stenhousemuir before moving on to Raith Rovers in 2006, appearing 48 times for the Kirkcaldy side.
